Zalgus, also known as Zalgatothus is a nihilistic entity beyond compare. He is a mysterious powerful force.

Zalgus is described as a cynical being. He sees no sense in being alive, thus he is ready to extinguish it, but he wants to do so gradually. He desires that everyone suffer first, that everyone experience actual anguish and death. He's willing to let anyone die in the most heinous ways possible, and he wants to see the entire planet turn into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Zalgus will then consume the entire world in darkness, murdering everyone and everything and leaving nothing behind. Zalgus believes that this is the correct thing to do because he sees no sense in being alive.
Despite this, he may be considered a hypocrite. He enjoys being worshipped despite caring for no one. He has no idea that if he destroys the planet, he would lose all of his followers and no one will truly revere him. This would almost certainly enrage Zalgus.
Zalgus is usually calm and nice at first glance. In actuality, he is ruthless and callous, since he murders a large number of people without remorse. Zalgus doesn't believe in remorse since he believes there's no point in feeling bad about something you've already done because you can't undo it, despite the fact that Zalgus can do practically anything with his powerful abilities. He frequently acts courteous to lure people into helping him with his nefarious ideas, and he likes betraying them.
He also enjoys the limelight. Zalgus will use any means necessary to make others aware of his existence, including murder, possession, telepathy, and other techniques. He usually announces his arrival by announcing "He Comes." He craves attention and will go to any length to obtain it, but he ignores the notion that destroying Earth will reduce the amount of attention he receives.
While he understands how they both function, Zalgus is unconcerned with right and wrong, feeling that they are both made up concepts. He doesn't care if he kills billions of people or if it's morally wrong. For whatever reason, Zalgus believes this is correct. He is also unconcerned with doing the right thing. Zalgus honestly believes that he is exempt from all regulations.
