Tardigradus also known as Waterbearus or Mosspigletsusses are a semi-extremophilic species of arthropod bugs that are smaller than ants, they resemble their real life counterpart, the tardigrade, tardigrade means waterbear, pretty cute isnt it?, they are known for their extreme useless adaptive skills (basically any protection against what they WONT find as a threat, for example if you are a lasergun monster they will win but if you are a Antmogus looking for a snack nah they must die).
Extremophilic Capabilities Of Tardigradusi[]
Temperature[]
tardigrades are mostly better suited for chill protection, but they can also survive extreme heat.
Heaty[]
A few minutes at 151°C.
10 years at 50°C
Chilly[]
A few days at -200°C
A few minutes at -272°C (one degree above absolute zero)
Pressure[]
Tardigradusi can survive the pressure of a space vaccum and the mariana trench.
Impacts[]
Tardigradusi can survive impacts up to 900m/s.
Dehydration[]
Tardigradusi can survive up to 10 years without any water consumption.
Radiation[]
Tardigradusi can survive up to 1,000X the radiation of other animals including other extremophiles.
Poison[]
Tardigradusi can survive extreme amount of toxin per square inch, per square inch which means they cant survive lethal poison.
Behavior[]
they are dumbasses but hey in the among us version they are pretty cute but not so cute in real life i beg you not to search for a real life tardigrade oh god kill it with fire
Evolution[]
- Tardigradus chose to spend all their shit on useless defense when they were arthropods back then.
- Tardigradus became nigh-immortal after evolution dot 1 to fucking everything except what can actually kill them.
- Tardigradus evolved from water, making them able to swim and breath underwater, also 70% of them live underwater.
