Specimen X, or sometimes called Project 999, is the penultimate scientific anomalous creation sourced from the endeavors of several scientists from the Visorial Division. Specimen X is a sentient, molecularly-unstable, genetically-modified Strongmogus which has an unknown, though extremely humongous power level.
History[]
Specimen X was created from the Visorial Division of the band of scientists called Blights. Specimen X is their penultimate creation which was created during August 9, 3006 by spreading an anonymous pathogen from a mysterious plant onto a physically unable Strongmogus, as well as using eugenics to transform its mutated genes to the next level.
For the next few weeks, the Strongmogus, soon to be Specimen X, started developing pitch-black spots on some of its facial regions, specifically the forehead, nose, and visor. After a couple months, the dark patches on the Strongmogus's face disappeared, at which point the Blights injected a VOID serum, which within the span of 2 days, completely transformed the Strongmogus back into a Crewmate-like form, while being covered in black.
Soon, however, its DNA started evolving to reject the VOID serum, as it contained Revidium, a harmful element on the periodic table that could create molecular instability. During this time, the Strongmogus experienced extreme physical pain, until a couple months later when its form took shape similar to a ªmºgus ¶2, and its body turned vantablack, consuming 99.8% of all light reaching its body surface, practically making it invisible.
However, this Strongmogus, now practically Specimen X, was still feeling physical pain. As well as the Blights' continued experiments on it, it developed resentment for them. And a mere week later, it had the ability to reconstruct its body at will within minutes, which it used to kill a scientist.
The testing site increased its security, though it didn't stop Specimen X from assassinating four more scientists, at which point it transformed into a containment site. However, with Specimen X's molecular instability, it passed through the site with ease, at which point Specimen X had escaped.
Though there have been sightings of Specimen X, the reports have been found all over the world, meaning it could be everywhere. The true location of Specimen X is filled with uncertainty.
