Pods are small spaceships controlled by 1-5 Crewmates that are often used in larger ships as escapes in case the larger ship is destroyed. They have a wide range of uses. The problem with pods is their size. Most pods can be destroyed by small pieces of space debris or just by the pod bay being destroyed or rendered impossible to enter, e.g. the door stops working due to the power being cut. Common features of pods include:
- High speed accelerators to go fast
- A window at the front to see where the pod is going.
- At least 2 seats to prevent the crewmates from flying around inside.
- Basic steering system to evade debris among other things
