Ophiuchsus is both the oldest and strongest Zodiacus, being the creator of all the other entities of its kind. He originally was an evil god that had the purpose to destroy worlds, but when he finally got defeated, he created the other Zodiacus so they can continue his legacy, moments before dying.
The Zodiacus were only small spheres of energy in the moment of their creation that ran away so they couldn't get destroyed in time, and soon grew and became the creatures we know nowadays, that weirdly didnt had that "evil genome" stored in them.
The fate of Ophiuchsus's original soul is unknown.
