The hoddgekjukulok, (Jusdawokancheus gargius), sometimes referred to as the susrack hoddgek, is a mammal endemic to northern Jashkyul and Powqua. The hoddgekjukulok is the only living ancestor species of the dinosaur Madkequevhushaurus.
The unique features of the hoddgekjukulok make it almost fantastical, as it is almost a hodgepodge of multiple creatures mixed into one.
As of 2054, the hoddgekjukulok is a threatened species, near the line of total extinction. It is now a legally protected species in all countries where it occurs. It is listed as a severely endangered species in South Jashkyul.
Taxonomy and etymology[]
When the hoddgekjukulok was first discovered by Jaskerqlariuns in 1768, a pelt and a sketch were sent back to Queytrqyalus by Captain Susman Robinsus, a famous hunter in Queytrqyalus. The Queytrqyalus sus-scientists' initial hunch was that the unique attributes of the hoddgekjukulok were a hoax.
The common name "hoddgekjukulok" literally means nothing. It's absolutely nonsense, like somebody smashed their keyboard (or a typewriter) looking for a good yet unusual name because of how unusual the hoddgekjukulok is. But it's utter nonsense, why would they do this? Like literally, why smash your head into the keyboard for a name instead of just asking some trusted scientist for an actually good name? The taxonomists probably hired a conman and gave them hundreds of susdollars without knowing.
