Prologue[]
Giganti are large beasts residing on our planet. Being sourced to be tens or hundreds of millions of years old, found from folklore and legendary myths, once regarded as almost truth, over time, the Giganti fell to legends. That was, until our fateful meeting. Welcome to Eyes' Logs, let's see how long I can last as I examine specimens of the unknown, the gods and demons, and everything supernatural in between.
Story[]
There was strange weather in our region. Acid downpours, small earthquakes and lava flowing from small holes about a ruler or two in diameter. I decided to go outside and have a calm walk in the woods, however, I saw something... strange. As I was having my walk, rain came. I wasn't totally weirded out by this, and I had prepared an umbrella. However, as I continued in the woodworks, something kept tempting me to go back. I never did, and I kept going, until I saw a white creature. I merely saw its face, and nothing else, but at least I can describe it. Its face were of something unknown to man, and as I kept looking, it kept smiling, to the point where I couldn't begin to describe what its face had turned, and then it left. I couldn't find it, no matter how fast I ran. I went back into my house.
I researched about this phenomenon, and there was no search results, except for one. It was on a website with the domain name "popularbooks.org". It read: "You know those internet trolls you get once a while? The troller mostly feels kind of mischievous and happy, the trollee becomes mildly annoyed... but the troll itself feels... more powerful. Follow these steps..." I then followed all the steps, which contained of; being done indoors, allowing no light inside, lighting blue fire candles, and drawing a summoning circle with many occult symbols. I then chanted the phrases that it contained, and to my amazement... something happened.
A beacon of light shined through the center of the summoning circle, which created a leather book with the words "UNO LIBRA" etched onto it, as well as the same symbol as I drew the circle engraved. Each page was glistened in gold, however there was only one page that was readable, the others were merely gibberish. It was yet more instructions on another ritual.
"Awaken the Smiles", it said. As I was beginning to prepare for the ritual, daunting thunderstorms struck my area. And soon hail started to come by. There was specifically something in the book, at the 14th page... "IF THERE IS UNUSUAL WEATHER... THEY ARE NEARBY. COMPLETE THE RITUALS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, OR RISK THE ENTIRE REALITY'S DEATH.". Such ominous words. I grasp myself and quickly performed the ritual. After I had done all the requirements and chanted the words, I was knocked out.
I look at my watch. That was 5 hours ago... and there isn't anymore thunderstorms or hail. I stand up and look at the book once more, two pages emerge. From the unintelligible words that covered the next two pages, English words replaced them, with the titles for the rituals; "Grinning Hand" and "Saddening Sorrows". When I first tried to do Saddening Sorrows, as it was the second, and Grinning Hand was the third, I could not seem to pronounce them.
These unknown symbols seem to be of an ancient language known as M'laaszciahn, from the mythical city of M'laaszcia, which unfortunately drowned in the Pacific Ocean. I tried to chant them, however hail and thunderstorm continued. Chanting it once more... downpours become more recent... maybe I should've tried Grinning Hand first.
As I began to chant the strange symbols, ancient runes floated above the book, circling a slow beam of light that began to get bigger and bigger as every moment goes on. Suddenly, the light blasted through the book, flinging me to the side of my room. It knocked me out for a minute, and when I woke up, a mouth was stuck on my hand, as well as blood coming from it.
I rushed to the bathroom and aggressively tried to get it off, however, only the blood was cleansed, and I was left with my hand and the mouth. I walked up back to my room, finding two new spells. "Eden's Garden" and "Parting Ritual". I tried to chant Saddening Sorrows, and to my surprise, my hand-mouth started chanting the words that I could not, what magic is this?
Suddenly, a man in ragged clothes knocked on my door. I opened it, and he spoke the words "Thou art the man who doomed our reality to oblivion by the gods below. I bring a warning, if you continue the rituals, who knows what horrors will arrive?". Suddenly, he faded into dust, and fierce storms and hurricanes devoured the city.
